sponsored by the Holistic Nurses of Charlotte to hear Dr. Emi Miller, ND, HN-BC of
Charlotte speak on the topic "How to Stay Healthy in a Toxic World". Dr. Miller
says her practice provides a blending of Western and Traditional Medicine in helping
patients heal.from chronic and enviornmental illness and to restore and maintain wellness.
The meeting will be held in the Bobcat Room of Presbyterian Hospital at 200 Hawthorne
Lane. Free Visitor's Parking information available at meeting.

The Hawthorne Lane Visitors Parking deck can still be used, but park closer to the
Hawthorne side so attendees can walk to the Hawthorne sidewalk, turn Rt to the E. 5th
corner, cross the street and turn right to reach the Presby School of Nursing at Queens on
the left side. It is a 3 story red brick building closer to Caswell. Enter the front and
take the elevator to the 2nd floor and go to Classroom #209 which is slightly to the
right. (Limited streetside parking).

knowledge of Iridology and Sclerology in a topic of: What The Eyes Reveal about our
Health. She will also offer some suggestions of foods and herbs that support the body
towards health.

Morrison Y, will offer a presentation on Tai Chi. Practiced for centuries in China, Tai
Chi incorporates martial arts movements and movements that gently massage the body. It is
commonly practiced today as a moving meditation for health benefits and longevity.
